Inner display gets iPad-like split view, not a stretched iPhone home screen

Hardware can be thin and still pointless if software is only a large iPhone. Gurman put the software plan plainly: the inner display works the iPad way, including side-by-side apps and drag and drop across them.

That is a rare Apple difference you can demo on the day. Android foldables have split view for years. Apple's bet is that people already know iPad windows, and putting that logic in a pocket device beats teaching another OEM skin.

The cover stays standard iPhone. The real product question is the handoff: two apps sitting side by side, then the device closes. How do they collapse to one window? Leaks almost never describe that. Watch the demo.
